Low Riders FWA An Teallach
With a 12 hour weather window from 3AM to 3PM, Guy and me made the bold choice of going to An Teallach and amazingly the gamble paid off. A very early start and good walking condition we got into the Glass Tholl corrie in good spirits, pleased with our selves for not getting lost in the dark. After some problems with avalanche potential in the gully's, we found a tasty looking steep corner with some grooves above and geared up at the base.
Two good sustained grade VII pitches in a cool situation took us to a junction with the main route up the buttress Minor Rib.
A good new route on a mountain I had never been up before, and getting down to the van before the storm arrived made for a very satisfying day out.
